Did you know you can filter out unwanted thoughts?
How often do you seemingly automatically think:
- I really messed that up.
- I’m too fat.
- I can’t figure this out.
- I’ll never reach my goals.
How often are you invited to complain?
Either you invite yourself to complain.
Or others start complaining and you join in.
How often do you have negative thoughts about your past?
How often do politics bother you?
We all fall into these mental traps.
They seem automatic and out of our control.
But they aren’t.
Remember you control your thoughts.
Your thoughts do not control you.
Your brain is a muscle.
This means you can train your brain to:
- Think about what you want to think
- Not think thoughts you don’t want to think.
Your thoughts create your reality.
So, it is a good idea to consciously choose:
- What to think
- What not to think
Consider that your brain is like your email.

So, if you start thinking negative thoughts …
Stop and delete them.
If someone is complaining, unsubscribe and send it to spam.
Don’t join in.
Use your spam filter to stop listening to thoughts that don’t empower you.
Choose to let the inbox of your brain be filled with empowering thoughts.
