Do you know that you have all the power?

Do you know that your power comes from taking personal responsibility?

It’s true.

When you choose to examine and manage your thoughts and feelings,

It puts you in charge of all your personal power.

Granted we can’t control what others say or do.

We can’t control with other’s don’t say or don’t do.

We can’t control many of the circumstances in our life.

Life in general is a roller coaster ride of:

The great, the good, the bad, the ugly,

And everything in between.

However, true power is in how we handle all of that.

In fact, you can’t handle any of it if you don’t manage your mind.

By that I mean:

  • Noticing your thoughts and feelings.
  • Examining your thoughts and feelings.
  • Choosing which thoughts and feelings you want to think and feel.
  • Practicing thinking and feeling the way you want to think and feel.

We think mistakenly think:

  • Our feelings control us.
  • Every thought we think must be true.

Nothing could be further from the truth!

Thoughts and feelings come and go.

Your mind is meant to create thoughts.

It creates about 40,000 thoughts a day.

You are wired to have those thoughts cause you to feel a certain way.

All of this happens automatically …

Unless you exercise your brain.

Your brain is a muscle.

Left without exercise, without training,

Your brain will generate thoughts that don’t serve you.

It will generate thoughts that create uncomfortable feelings.

But you get to choose.

Do you like those thoughts and feelings.

If not choose new thoughts and feelings.

Consider how some people move through life with ease.

While others are always in emotional turmoil.

The difference is one is managing their thoughts and feelings.

The other is not.

The good news is you get to choose which you want to be.

I promise you, this is not pre-decided.

You are not destined to live a life of emotional turmoil.

You have the power to practice how you want to think and feel.

This is not stuffing painful feelings.

This is not just thinking positive.

This is actually noticing what you are currently thinking and feeling.

This is acknowledging what results those thoughts and feelings create.

This is choosing thoughts and feelings that give you the results you want.

This is practicing your thinking.

This is going to the gym for your brain.

So, if you have a couch potato brain …

But you want a fit and healthy brain.
