Many years ago, during a moment of crisis when I reached out and called one of my dearest friends, she said to me: “We are all in the same boat together rowing to the other side”. That is so true!
Sometimes as we deal with healing from our abuse it feels like we are alone. We are not! That is what Choose To Soar is all about. Supporting each other. Being in the same boat together rowing to the other side. But, we don’t have everyone in the boat yet. Some of our friends, family members and co-workers are feeling like they are alone. They are trying to paddle their own canoe alone. Worse they may have fallen out of the boat and are getting weary as they tread water.
Let’s get everyone in the boat. Let’s get all the women survivors of sexual abuse that we know in the boat with us. Let’s get them the help and support they need. Let’s ask them to join us in Choose to Soar.
My mission in life is to help women survivors of sexual abuse who are struggling in their life, marriage/relationship, the help so they can heal. Will you please help me with this mission? It’s easy. Simple do one or more of the following:
